In love with dining out – Madrid
Gingerboy is a quality take away thai restaurant, actually, is the best Thai restaurant I know in Madrid, period. It seems impossible ordering out premium food, but Gingerboy seems to be the exception that proves the rule (along with some few more places).
They have Spring rolls and Vietnamese rolls for starters
Also soups, salads, chicken satay and some delicious Thai croquettes with mushrooms and mayo
We order everything to share and mix it all together, starters and mains, for example spring rolls, croquettes and the amazing Crispy duck with tamarind and prune marmalade
But my favorite is the Pad Thai, the great classic rice noodles with prawns, bean sprouts, egg, Chinese spring onions, tamarind, peanuts and lime. One ration is more than enough for two if you are going to share more dishes, if not, it can be a superb main meal.
The other must are Thai curries, I usually order Mussumam Curry as it is not too much spicy, and Jasmine rice to mix. Great fresh seasonal vegetables and a flavorful sauce. Add chicken!
If you order everything I talked you about it would be perfect for a 4 people meal and it would be around 20€ each. You can go to Murillo 1 to pick it up, or you can order it out. Delivery is free if you live (or work) in the green area and 6€ if you do in the orange area. Call them 915 94 31 94 everyday but Mondays 13-16h / 20-0h.
