shows that things are not always what they seem and that appearances can be misleading. From the outside it seems just like another cafetería
to have a good coffee, tea or juice and something light to eat, but it isn’t. It’s one of the best Italian restaurants in Madrid, Nonsolocaffé specializes in regional dishes of north Italy.
There are four lounges: “Il Lounge-Bar” perfect for an Italian breakfast, Spritz
, or even a casual dinner; “Il Corridoio”, high tables and stools (is the one I prefer);
“Il Salottino”, the main room for lunch and dinner; and from March to October “La Terrazza”.
The food is delicious, everything homemade, we started with Melanzane alla parmigiana:
The pasta, amazing, Tagliatelle mari e monti
(tossed with prawns, mushrooms and other forest mushrooms and a touch of tomato) and an out of the menu dish Tagliatelle with artichokes and guanciale
Pannacotta for dessert, with strawberry sirope
They offer a great variety of Italian wines also.
The price is around 25€ each, so it’s a perfect choice if you are in the area!
